HPI strives to make it as easy as possible to do business with us. Here is an outline of how to start using HPI services:

Set up an Account with HPI
Complete the Account Setup Form and fax to HPI at 1-800-273-8971.
Complete a Service Order
Complete a Service Order Form detailing your request for background screening.
Complete Consent Forms
Have the job applicant or subject complete the appropriate Consent Form(s).
Send Service Order to HPI
Fax the completed Service Order Form and Consent Forms to HPI at 1-800-273-8971. Prior to submission, check that all required information is complete and that forms have been signed by all parties.
HPI Confirms Order
HPI will send an email to the designated contact(s) at your company/organization informing them that the order has been received. If receipt email is not received within a few hours, please call HPI to ensure your request has been received.

If you are a new HPI client, you will also be set up with a User Account in our Client Portal. You will receive an email with your User Name and Password. You are able to change your Password once you log in.
HPI Initiates the Request
HPI will review the order and initiate the request. HPI will call or email the designated contact if there are any questions regarding the work or if a clarification is required. If a consent form is missing required information, i.e. signature, date of birth, etc the request will be held until the required information has been received.
HPI Adds Results to Client Portal
As the work is completed the results will be added to your Client Portal account. Click "Client Login" at the top of any web page on our site and log in with the User Name and Password assigned to you. All results will be available as secure Adobe PDF documents in a secure environment.
HPI Issues Invoice
Invoicing for services provided is monthly with payment due upon receipt of invoice.
